IMHO, z/OS and z/VM books are most easily handled by simple e-mail to [email protected] That syntax is just plain wrong. The comma isn't continuation since it's inside the quotes. The continuation is implied by reaching EOL without closing quotes. I.e. 'QUERY TIME' While syntactically valid, it's abysmally unprofessional in style. Go ahead an put a line comment on that first line and see what it gets you. And if you code 'QUERY , TIME' You can immediately see the problem. Commas are not part of the CSL syntax.
