I'll check it out as you suggest...I do have such a 6.4 system but don't really 
want to break too many rules so I'm going to use that for my testing now that I 
know it's much better there:  😊

We do plan to upgrade this 6.3 system soon.  BTW the code works fine on the 6.4 
system that I have access to:

Au contraire! I have the opportunity to tease you with new plumbing and 
encourage to migrate to a supported release :-) If you watch for the revision 
codes in the new book, they clearly indicate things that don't work yet in 6.3

But if you have a 6.4 system as well, you could take the DMSPIPE MODULE and 
such to use on your personal userid on 6.3 as well. Obviously it's not a 
supported configuration, but we can probably bend that pipe offline if you want.
