I believe the child was born 25 years ago as  MATCH, implemented like "not
verify" with the complement set. I don't know why it was renamed NOT after
some years.
Maybe the keyword ANYOF would have been a good choice. There has been too
much water through the pipe to remove the NOT option now, but it's hard to
imagine how to document the behavior. I will poke the Piper in case he
remembers why.
