Hello!
Do you have any experience with Amaya <http://w3c.org/Amaya/> as editor (in a CMS)?
I like much of how Amaya works, but do have some problems using it.
My biggest problem is regarding the rendering of CSS. On my personal homepage <http://www.anders.nawroth.com/> Amaya won't render the CSS at all. The page validates as XHTML 1.0 Strict and CSS2. CSS is sent as text/css, wich is also recognized by Amaya. I find my CSS in the style rules and so on, but it won't get rendered ... Sending the page as true XML doesn't make any difference <http://www.anders.nawroth.com/.xhtml>.
To handle the HTTP POST actions from Amaya to save the edited documents server-side isn't difficult, so it could be a nice standards-based solution for CMS-editing. It also sends images to the server this way, wich I think is good. No need for FTP or Form-based file uploads.
Any opinions or experiences?
