I think before this thread goes any further with respect to the technical
merits of Contribute, consider its intended audience. There are certainly
better packages out there that better fit the technical definition of CMS
(when combined with Dreamweaver). However, Contribute does fill a large
niche for those web site owners without the capability (undefined) of
implementing those other packages.
You want a web site built with a simple web tool? Contribute can do it all
by itself. You want a templated web site built with many different content
authors, supported by a technical person with limited site capabilities?
Dreamweaver and Contribute will suffice as a simple CMS.
Whatever floats your boat ...
