Cross-compiing: Linux => HP-UX ?

Is it possible to cross-compile from Linux to HP-UX (using the snapshot 
binaries and sources of May)? And more important, HOW? 
I tried several things, but it always fail, and I can't figure out how to 
setup things correctly. Cross-compiling is not very well documented, and the 
only cross-compiling script examples are on the same platform (sparc->sparc or 
x86->x86), which is not very useful.
