Invest in yourself, in your education. There's nothing better. Let not your mind run on what you lack as much as on what you have already. Never claim as a right what you can ask as a favor. Live always in the best company when you read. It is only the ignorant who despise education. A conservative is a fellow who thinks a rich man should have a square deal. The people who are absent are the ideal those who are present seem to be quite commonplace. The mere process of growing old together will make the slightest acquaintance seem a bosom friend. The only way to give finality to the world is to give it consciousness. Why don't you want to do what you know you should do? The reason you don't is that you're in conflict with yourself. Come children, let us shut up the box and the puppets, for our play is played out. The average estimate themselves by what they do, the above average by what they are. The world can only be grasped by action, not by contemplation. The hand is the cutting edge of the mind.
