Nevertheless, this version of Knoppix includes two small perl tools to conveniently put the CD's contents on a harddisk partition and re-master it to CD with just a single command. So everyone can do his own further modifications (like, for example, throwing out all the PHP stuff). > Question of interest: did you ask at Xanalys? Maybe they allow it if you > add a suitable note. No, I did not ask at Xanalys - neither did I ask Touretzky, Steele, or Sussman, whether we could get a special license to put any of their copyrighted material onto that CD. After all, it's only intended as a means to have a first peek at various programming languages. It will feature, however, a scheme implementation for the z-code interpreter, disguised as a text adventure where a djinn is teaching scheme to the player. > As Gabor, I think that it would be more useful if SLIME would get a Debian > package. But this belongs elsewhere... Yes, I'd definitely like to see SLIME being debianized. It will not be on the CD, however. > Is GNU Emacs available as well? Don't know yet if the Linux Magazine guys added it - I did not, emacs will just be a symlink to xemacs. -- regards, [EMAIL PROTECTED] (o_ Thomas Fischbacher - http://www.cip.physik.uni-muenchen.de/~tf //\ (lambda (n) ((lambda (p q r) (p p q r)) (lambda (g x y) V_/_ (if (= x 0) y (g g (- x 1) (* x y)))) n 1)) (Debian GNU)
