On my Slackware Linux 10.0 system, I would like to upgrade the kernel from 2.6.7 to 2.6.10. Are there any issues with CMUCL?
Last October I asked a similar question about the 2.6 series because I had heard about some memory map issues. Numerical Methods said that memory map changes started at 2.6.9, and that he was running CMUCL with 2.6.7 fine except for an intermittent glitch. Martin Cracauer confirmed that CMUCL run fine for him with 2.6.7, and that the the memory map issues were limited to Fedora Core 2. I have been successfully using 2.6.7 with CMUCL since last November, and I was wondering whether more recent versions of the 2.6 series also worked well.
