I think it worked at one point. (Or maybe that was the sbcl version?)
The source code certainly has some code for ppc that's not for Darwin.
But like most free software, if it doesn't exist, it's because those
who want it on some platform can't or won't do it and those who can
don't have that platform or aren't interested in it. :-(
If ppc-linux has a working gdb that's capable of handling signals and
passing them correctly on, then ppc-linux might be interesting to me.
A lack of a working gdb is certainly a major hinderance for ppc on
Darwin.
