I've seen some similar things where GC seemed unable to clean up. It
was some simple test function someone posted; I can't find it anymore.
Perhaps you can change gencgc-oldest-gen-to-gc[1] to 0. This disables
the generational part of the GC. Or some other value less than 5
might be appropriate.
If it still loops, I don't have any good idea.
