I'm actually at Lincoln Lab in Lexington, not the MIT campus.  I did 
a 'CVS CO SRC' from cvs2.cons.org:/home/anoncvs/CVS-cmucl last night.
Is this the right "working tree" or is there something else I should
be using?

I did notice that, although boot.lisp was nothing but comments, that
boot2.lisp did load.  I'm currently running builds w/o any of the
boot*lisp files and will add them back in as/if failures occur.
