My mistake.  I neglected to do an "apt-get update" before my search.

Adding to the confusion is that the "apt-cache show cmucl-normal" doc
paragraph for 3.1.1 says "It is pretty close to the FreeBSD 18b release."
None of the other cmucl debian subsystems (including the main "cmucl"
meta-package) mention an explicit release number.

I'm sure that the 18d mention in the herald is the most likely source, and
the documentation (and probably *features* too) is slightly out of date.
