OK, I've tried a couple web servers --- portableaserve and CL-HTTPD.
Both are multiprocessing web servers. Both seem to hang when getting requests from more than one client at a time. I think there's something wrong with the CMUCL multiprocessing. I notice this same kind of thread starvation in other things such as graphics applications. (I think this has been a problem for a long time, but I have no idea exactly what it is. If anyone is curious, I have code that runs under Garnet that demonstrates the problem using the Garnet animation interactors.) Is anyone actually running a web server under CMUCL?
