This probably means you're trying to redefine ANSI CL functions or
CMUCL internal functions, which is a very bad thing to do. Unless, of
course, you've enabled package-locks for your own packages.
What functions are you getting this error on?
In any case, setting LISP::*ENABLE-PACKAGE-LOCKED-ERRORS to NIL will
turn off ALL locks, globally.
Look at some recent mail from Eric Marsden for other ways. I think
this is also documented in the User's manual available at
www.cons.org.
