Racing out to Bermuda, we felt this way about everything that we DID encounter,
but it could have been MUCH MUCH worse. We missed 50 knots out of the NW across
the Gulf Stream by not much. That would have put the old girl to a pretty
severe challenge. I’d rather do a hurricane away from the Stream than that!

Alchemist eh?
Do you work for EPA?
Is the LO 300 an actual 300mi race? And how many participants? A large event
like the Chi-Mac?

Good luck to all participants in the LO 300 race this weekend. Our 1986 C&C 29
Mk 2 is ready for the challenge. My crew and I are confident that our boat can
handle any weather and sea conditions that could possibly happen in this off
shore race. Some very smart people designed and built our boat.

Perhaps I’m not the only one who feels this way?
