severn-river-1.jpg When I opened the July issue of CBM, it brought back a flood of memories. I don't know if that is Joe Della Barba at the helm, but Joe's dad, Tony, was a marvelous sailor with whom I had the pleasure of sailing on Coquina, the family's C&C 35 that he raced and did many Annapolis to Bermuda races on. Tony and I shared many wonderful times on the Bay, whether on his boat or ours, , but one thing was for sure that when were out together on our boats it was always a race. So the name Coquina lives on, as do memories of Tony, who was taken from us much too soon.severn-river-1.jpg Bill Coleman C&C 39
