FYI, you may want to check your halyards? Went up the mast yesterday and installed our new TackTick Wind sensor. I used the main halyard for raising and lowering parts. Found the part of the main halyard that stays in the mast was dirty, hard and stiff. (straight line for Wally) I remember soaking all of the halyards in Tide and treating with Downy only a few years ago when I had the mast down. I plan to rig a messenger line and pull the halyard out and resoak it.
