Great weekend on the boat. Sailed down Pensacola Bay Saturday to ICW then
motored westbound to The Wharf Marina at Orange Beach,AL. Resisted the
temptation to stop at Pirate's Cove bar at Josephine, AL on the way.

Spent night at The Wharf which is a first class marina with restaurants, shops,
bars, Ferris Wheel and an amphitheater where top notch entertainers perform.
Ate conch fritters and shrimp and grits for dinner. Wandered the shops and
retired to boat.

Today we motored back east in the ICW then took Perdido Pass out into the Gulf.
Always exciting going under a 55 foot clearance bridge with 51 feet of stick.
There were lots of people on the beaches at the bridge pointing at the bridge
and Touché's mast. No biggie, we've passed under that bridge before.

Nice sail back east to Pensacola Pass and back up the bay to the yacht club to
dock just ahead of a nice thunderstorm. Having a cocktail in the cockpit
watching LOTS of lightening in the approaching storm as I write this.

Watching a couple of great blue herons battle over the marina's turf.

Very appreciative of a good boat, a great first mate and a great weekend
sailing.
