That's what I was wondering -- surface temps in the Great Lakes are at all-time 
record high's, and Lake Michigan is usually warmer than Superior in any case.  
Although, if they did a really good job with the wrap, they might have bent the 
shaft or pulled the strut off; so maybe motoring wouldn't have been an option, 
in any case.
