I received the same feedback from others regarding boats built under Carroll's 
leadership.  It's unfortunate, because even with their  design limitations, I 
like the boat for the price and how I am planning on using it.
 
Will probably  still just rely on a good survey to give me a heads up on issues.

That was my impression, I hadn't heard of any built in NOL.

I would try and find a boat built while Barry Carroll was on vacation.
