Edd,

Would love you to visit us at Pequot (Southport CT)

While our Galley is now closed Mondays, (and never open evenings except
Wednesday in season) there are several great restaurants within half a mile
of the yacht club-: Price levels per "Urbanspoon"

Artisan Restaurant at the Delamar Hotel $$$$ (half mile)

Grey Goose $$$ (half mile)

Horseshoe $ (third mile)

Southport Pizza $ (third mile)

8 / 10ths of a mile away is the Athena Dinner $ and Tabouli Grill $$

An alternate on the other side of the Sound is Port Jefferson. - I usually
anchor well away from the town, but there are slips and moorings close to
town.

Milford is a possibility - I think you would need to go all the way in to
Milford Boat Works to be close enough to town reataurants.

Despite being on my doorstep, I am not familiar with Norwalk or Stratford,
but there are several marina's in both towns, some of which may be close
enough to restaurants for you

Subject: Stus-List On The Way Back From Mystic . . .

Listers,

In planning our trip to the Mystic Rendezvous (17 boats --
wow!), I'm now looking for a good spot to go to somewhere midway between
Clinton CT and City Island for the Monday night after. Pequot YC's
restaurant is closed for the evening and it's a bit of a long walk to town.
Same is true for Black Rock YC.

Looking for someplace nice, slip or mooring, easy in and easy
out, and with dinner choices either on site or very close by.

            Any suggestions??

See you in a week and change . . .

                        All the best,

                        Edd
