How do you guys, without A/C, deal with the dampness in the cabin. Our cabin
got so humid that the bedding was damp and kind of gross to sleep in. We tried
those damprid things and the bag filled but it was still very damp. We also
used one of those tubs with the white stuff in it and it didn't seem to do
anything. DannyViking 33South Coast, MA
My 2005 Nicro is still working fine, (in the head) of course only in the day
and 6 months a year. As another mentioned, it is getting noisy, but at least
the impeller doesn't fall off anymore for some reason.

I say install the muffin fans. Just do it. These have made a dramatic
difference. It amazing on how moving such little air eliminates smell and
mold. They are only 80mm, right in the Dorade Box and use so little juice I
don't even think about it. I removed the Tuba horns and made a drink holder
out of the hole. I don't remember pulling the wires through the ceiling
liner, so it can't have been that big of a problem. I have a switch for
them on my regular panel.

There are also the DIY projects on installing a muffin fan in the
companionway hatch boards, something I'm not really wanting to do.

Any listers want to chime in on this?
