There will be some oil in the filter and distributed around the engine. If you wait half an hour or so after running the engine to give the oil time to drain down and also change the filter, it should take the prescribed volume of oil.

Before I started to change the oil for winter layup I ran the engine for 15 minutes or so, and checked the oil level (at the top line on the dip stick) Using a brand new Jabsco oil changing pump put the plastic tube down the dipstick hole. I pumped out what I could and measured what came out - just 2 quarts. This was confirmed because 2 quarts of be oil took the level back to the top line on the dip stick. The manual says that there should be 2.8 quarts in this engine. How do I get the other 0,8 quarts out? -- Jonathan Trade Show Services Cell: (203) 395 0225 www.tradeshowservicesusa.com _______________________________________________ This List is provided by the C&C Photo Album http://www.cncphotoalbum.com [email protected] _______________________________________________ This List is provided by the C&C Photo Album http://www.cncphotoalbum.com [email protected]
