I put Interlux Interprotect barrier coat on my last boat (Viking 28) and after 13 years the bottom was still perfect.
This boat had a cast iron keel and the Interprotect also prevented any "rust through" for the 13 years. I bought a 29 mark 2 in the spring and I will be putting Interprotect on the bottom before spring launch. The newer version of Interprotect is also much easier to apply than the stuff that i used the last time. There is a longer acceptable "window" between coats which means that you don't have to do a coat at 10:00 at night any more. Best regards, Bob Hickson, P.
