Woody Wax it intended for decks, I think. I bought some several years ago, but decided against using it because I was afraid it would be a problem when I re-paint - Not cheap,
I guess I probably didn't have to say that, did I? http://www.woody-wax.com/fiberglass-non-skid-deck-wax.php Bill Coleman From: CnC-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Stevan Plavsa Sent: Monday, October 22, 2012 6:31 PM To: [email protected]; [email protected] Subject: Re: Stus-List Deck Wax (was Deck Cleaning Help) I used Sure Step on my old boat and I was happy with the results. Didn't have the boat that long so can't comment but I wax my car every year so I would think a yearly application is normal. I tried it once -- can't remember the year but it was a long time ago. It worked *great* but didn't last more than a year. The major caveat: My old gelcoat sucked that stuff up like a sponge, and I went through an unbelievable amount of it, making the job a very expensive learning experience. Given that it only lasted a year, I decided that it would be much cheaper to put down new non-skid. Wal Alan Paul wrote: I do have another question. Do any of you use a wax or something similar on the non-skid to seal it and make it easier to clean? Is there anything that prevents it from being slippery? _______________________________________________ This List is provided by the C&C Photo Album http://www.cncphotoalbum.com [email protected]
