Have a 1986 35-3 with CB . Found, at the later part of one season, the
tightness problem with the CB. A major collection of zebra mussels was found to
be the cause on haul out. New policy is to raise the board when she is in her
slip, lower before leaving. Also do a thorough clean of the trunk with a bottle
brush, board raised, boat on the hoist and before launch, and try and get anti
fouling up inside, and on a lowered board. Had no further trouble. On our
dedicated winch find that a few turns without much effort is all that is
required. My board tends to overlower, that is the leading edge is forward of
the slope of the keel, so I have rigged a stop line to limit the swing. Best of
luck.
