Good job guys on being proactive with your fleet. I'll keep my eyes open for you.

Some members of the group are, however, getting together to formulate a plan and funding should another 35-1 become available. They are trying to expand their one design fleet in the Detroit area. Their intention was to procure a 35-1, bring it to Detroit, fix it up and sell it to any sailor who wants to join their racing fleet. Keep an eye out for a decent 35-1 in your areas. One note, since the boat will be used in one design racing, it can't be radically modified, i.e. shoal draft keel, non-standard rig, etc. Although unsuccessful, this was a good experience to unite the resources of two groups who enjoy a great family of boats. Thanks to Joel Aronson from the C&C list for taking the time to inspect the boat. Dennis C.
