Thanks for stepping up. I am the Pied Piper for the 2013 Marion Bermuda Race
so I am a little stretched (besides works, kids etc).
John and I have 80 percent of the mechanics worked out so it should be a little
easier next round. Especially since you don't have to worry about Mystic
logistIcs.
We can pass along those learnings fairly easily with a phone call. I would
suggest delegation for Website (dormant but still available), marina and land
logiistics.
The biggest decision now is location and dates. As part of delegation perhaps
someone on the list could help Rob with a survey?

I'm offering to organize the 2013 C&C Rendezvous. My weekends are constrained
by work so it would have to be close to my home port. No more than 4-6hr sail
from Mystic, CT or I might not be able to attend with my boat.
That limits me to a radius around Mystic of Pt. Judith, Block Island, Shelter
Island/Greenport NY, or Clinton CT. (Milford would also work for me as I have
friends there and could leave my boat if I had to).
Do you have any thoughts as what to do with the money raised? I was thinking
of offering to fly Stu in or donating to a local maritime/historical charity in
whatever town we end up in.
Any thoughts?
