Steve,If you want inexpensive and safe with virtually no amenties, Contact
Swanswa Marina. They are all the way up the bay into Mt Hope Bay. It will be
the least expensive place I'm sure! I kept my O'day 22 there for 4 years. Nice
quiet spot, very protected. Not to many amenities however. They have
restrooms and thats about it. Harry runs a tight operation so you won't have
people partying and keeping you up at night. Then, there is my new summer home,
F.L. Tripp and Sons at Westport Point. Kinda cool place! Full service marina,
right next to westport yacht club that serves food and very close to the Back
Eddy restaruant. Maybe 6 or 7 miles from Newport, right at buzzards bay so,
Martha's Vinyard, the elizabeth islands are all pretty close. Can be a little
tricky getting in and out with the strong current flowing in and out with tide
changes. You can info on line at FLTRIPP.com Danny

Accommodations Try Dutch Hbr Boatyard in Jamestown, Jamestown Boatyard,
Somewhere in East Greenwich; talk to Maggie at East Coast rigging, she seems to
have a good handle on things there and is taking care of Peregrine at the
moment. There's also Allen's Harbor boatyard, or up the bay in Bristol and
Warren.Leaving the boat in Newport is an expensive option, but I know Ida Lewis
YC has moorings for rent, though they may not rent them for that long. If you
leave her in Newport make sure you're in Brenton Cove and I'll be happy to keep
an eye on her for you.AndyC&C 40Peregrine

I’m planning on doing the Annapolis to Newport race this June and
leaving the boat in the Newport area for a couple of months and doing some

places to leave the boat while it’s there. ThanksSteve Steve SharkeyC&C
