Talking of Port Townsend:

The last time I sailed into Port Townsend was in a C&C 115. Carbon fibre mast &boom; barber haulers; hydraulic backstay - all the bells and whistles.

This boat is available for bare boat charter from Island Cruising out of Sidney, Vancouver Island. The C&C 115 is a beautiful boat and exciting to sail. I don't think there is another one available for charter in N. America. Of all the boats I've chartered, if I was in the market to buy a "big" sailboat, this would be the one! If you talk nicely to Larry the owner, he'll even let you fly the asymmetric, which no other charter companies will in my experience.

Just thought I'd pass this on. You don't get too many chances to sail someone else's thoroughbred!
