Seems like you've already gotten a lot of replies but I'll throw my two
cents in and echo what Bob said, the C&C 30 isn't the only option. I was
actually looking for a 27 or a 30 when I was moving up from my Mirage 24
but I couldn't find one for a reasonable amount of money. The 27 and the 30
seem to command a high resale, which is understandable as they are popular
boats. The examples I looked at were overpriced and under-maintained. I
ended up buying a 1980 C&C 32. It had original everything, but it was all
in amazing condition and the survey checked out good. I don't regret it at
all. It has everything the C&C 30 has, and more. The resale on the 32, at
least around here, is about in line with a good condition 30.
Good luck with the hunt, searching is the fun part.
