Upon buying Ox ~7 years ago I had it/her outfitted with new (foam and covering) cushions for ~$3K. (I stated in a recent, unrelated post that the cushions were new. Well, they _were_ new.)
I was keenly interested in the differences between open and closed-cell foam and settled on a 2" closed cell foam over a 4" open cell foam (for drainage) in the v-berth and quarter-berth. The salon/saloon has cushions with 4" open-celled foam. I rarely sleep aboard these days so the open/closed distinctions are no longer that important. :-) Bob M Ox 33-1 Jax, FL On Wed, Mar 20, 2013 at 9:31 AM, Bob Dryer <[email protected]> wrote: > The cushions on my 29mkii are original, torn and worn.
