Jim, I didn't go with that unit because of the external GPS antenna. I just didn't want to run another line and have something else off the stern rail. Standard Horizon already sells a VHF/Ais receiver, and eventually someone with make a VHF/AIS transponder. Commercial vessels are supposed to monitor Class B. And I'm supposed to drive the speed limit.
