I mounted my compressor in the port side lazarette. It has one small vent at the aft end. Performance has been good, but I'm not tracking the amperage it uses. It runs much less than 50% of the time, depending on the outside temperature. The lazarette was a better option than inside the cabin, where there is very little airflow, except for a solar vent.
