David:
No experience with either Micron Extra or CF. I have used Micron CSC
for over 15 years with good results. It does not prevent slime, however.
Last year at this time, I got my hands on some Micron 66....it is not
sold in Canada but it is available I believe in the USA.
Micron 66 is the the most effective antifouling paint I have
experienced.....and no slime which it is specifically designed to work
against.

I just bought a boat that has Micron CSC currently on the bottom. I
need to touch up some areas and am deciding whether to stick with CSC.
I consulted with Interlux and they said that CSC was good for
barnacles etc. but did not have the slime blocker that CF and Extra
have. I have had issues with slime in the past with a different
bottom paint and so am considering switching to Micron Extra or CF. I
don't plan to strip at this point, just patch and see how it works
relative the CSC. Any experience out there with Extra or CF? Thanks-
