Went out Saturday. Winds were west 15-20 gusting to 30. Started with a reef in the main and the 135 on a beam reach. Hit 7.8 knots on may way to the Bay Bridge!
Tacked and came under the bridge and furled the jib to about 110%. (Should have furled it more). Hardened up to close hauled. I was overpowered in the puffs- heeled to 45 degrees, but the boat handled great! Clearly saw that heeling past 20 degrees did not make me faster!
