If you're contemplating going to Mystic, drive the extra hour to Newport. Plenty for the girls to do and lots of eye candy for you. One of the best secrets in Newport is lunch at Belle's at the Shipyard. People are put off by the guard gate, but just walk on through and you can dine outside surrounded by gorgeous mega-yachts.
