this kind of webbing is readily available in any store that deals with
mountaineering (climbing) gear (I always say that the two communities could
(and should) learn a lot from each other).
In Canada, you can get it in MEC (MEC.ca); in the US, I bet you have much more
choices.
If you don't know, be aware that tying knots on tubular (flat) webbing is
different; very few knots would actually hold.
