Hi My spars were painted and when I stripped the boom and spinnaker pole, I noticed the surfaces were previously anodized and that some of this wore off, so how can I most easily prep them for painting?
I checked with the local anodizing shop and he can't do anything over 12' in length, so that is out. Any suggestions? Powder coating? I know Wally did the etch, prime, paint thing a few years ago, and if that is the only way, then so be it....
