According to the listing, this boat is from 1967 and was built by
Bruckman. I thought Newport 41's began in the late 1970's. I also wonder
if maybe this started life as a sloop and was re-rigged at some point.
The 2 Newport 41's I've seen had a molded star in the cove stripe, but I
suppose that might have been filled in at some point.

be a C&C. It doesn't have the star in the cove stripe. It
appears to have the hull of a Redline 41 but a very different deck
and coach roof (if that is the correct term).
