I second Joe's recommendations (polarised, <$20). OK, maybe $30.
And keep in mind that _any_ polarised glasses would make reading the
instruments difficult, because the LCD displays (most of them are) use
polarised glass (and the polarised liquid crystal) to display the image.
Btw. different polarised glasses (often times from the same vendor) have the
polarisation axis at a different angle to vertical. Play with different glasses
until you find a pair that you like and that makes the instruments the most
visible (take your chart plotter to the store, if you can). and if nothing else
works, you can always tilt your head to one side (for reading the instruments).
