I hate to sound like a lazy slug, but I rigged for a Cunningham and never used it, even on the SF bay going to wind in 20Kplus. My sails have aged, when I think I want to move the draft forward I have been using my jiffy reef setup to pull down on the first reef point. It ain't perfect, but it seems to get the job done.
