I'm considering the purchase of a 1981 C&C 40. One of the salon portlight windows is cracked and needs to be replaced. I'm wondering if anyone has completed this type of repair and what the level of effort is for a DIY project and / or what the costs involved to have the windows replaced?
The owner is selling the boat as is and I'm trying to get a handle on the value considering the items that need to be fixed and or replaced. Any thoughts will be much appreciated. Thanks. Tom L - Potential C&C owner.
