I just went up the port side of the boat (above the shelf) and through the
bulkhead behind the ice box. You can tie wrap the cable to the hull/deck bolts
which stick down. Once inside the cabin, just go inwards to the ice box area
(my radio is mounted just over the aft of the ice box).

Subject: Stus-List feeding wire between cabin top and inner liner

I recently bought a new VHF radio for my 1974 30 Mk I that incorporates a
GPS.

The old one is located over the ice box. I need to bring a cable from the
stern mounted GPS to the new unit but find the power and antenna cables on the
old one are brought up between the cabin top and inner liner where there is
virtually no clearance to bring a new cable.

Has anyone worked this problem through. I would rather not re-locate the VHF.

  Thanks in advance.

  Martin
