Interesting comment from Jobson regarding the layout of the boats. Oracle has a little platform under the wing, the Kiwis have a virtual wing as the platform, extending in a triangle from under the wing to the hulls. Jobson said that maybe it is giving more end plate effect. It could just be having a bit of an airfoil effect keeping the hulls more out of the water while going upwind.
So much for two boat testing, when they are both the same, you don't learn much, just get better at running them. Design flaws? Oh well, off to NZ, 6 to -1.
