I hate to kick sand on your dream, Fred, but I read that the report on
climate change (note it isn't called global warming anymore) that was
released by the UN last month forecasts that hot regions will get hotter and
cold regions will get colder over time. Sounds kind of at odds with current
views of melting ice caps, but now might be the time to schedule your cruise
through the Northwest Passage.

open water, I expect I won't need to.  The Great Lakes will be tropical by
