Those of you who like to charter in the BVI will no doubt be familiar with Pirate's Bight restaurant on Norman Island.
It burned to the ground this morning. I assume everyone was safe, but it's a tragedy to lose this restaurant / watering hole. I was last there last March after sailing north from Grenada. And like true pirates on Treasure Island, we decided to anchor in the bay after arriving in the late afternoon, go ashore for dinner and drinks (no pillaging however), and then worry about clearing customs the next day.
