Same experience with both my 30mkI and my LF38: reef the main first, even down 
to the second reef, then start going after the genoa.  Having said that, I've 
never had anything as big as a 150; 135 is the biggest I've used.  The 30mkI 
came with a 110, too, but we never used it as the boat always seemed to be 
underpowered with it.

The headsail really drives these boats.
