The whole Haha fleet should be in Turtle Bay right now, having a pot
luck party. (I should have warned Fred about that... the kids hit you
up for a dollar to 'watch' your dinghy, then head back to town. Some of
them will stay and watch your dinghy float away on the tide... <VBG>)
The rally schedule has them taking off tomorrow to head south again.
That depression/storm track has shifted in a good way. I just checked a
couple of 5 day forecasts, and if it stays true to the current models
they could actually have a sweet 12-18 knots on a broad reach with
following swell. In Fred's boat that would be a fun time. One model
predicts 25K from the North, but again Fred would probably love that.
With at least one good crew I sure would!
I'm in La Paz waiting on an immigration hassle. It was very annoying as
I had been planning to leave today to head south, but now it's no big
deal because my route would have put me TDC on the eye on Monday. Not
gonna happen. So I'da been sitting here waiting anyway, and usually the
messy stuff is followed by dead calm. So what the heck, it's movies and
popcorn.

Any idea where Fred is now? I don't see his AIS signal anywhere on the map.
Where are you located? Do you have an AIS transponder?
